It takes a lot of work planning and executing the creation of any sort of media. And, although solely audio, podcasts are no exception. It is far easier to look at one and critique it, easily spotting faults from a distance. That’s one of the reasons why it has taken me so long to write this review. I see the amount of time and energy put into the production and it
Law Abiding Biker Media company that was founded by Ryan Urlacher, a motorcycle police officer in the state of Washington. The company churns out podcasts videos and blog posts focused on bikes, farkles and other motorcycle related things.
The most recent episode I listened to left me waiting for content. Between a drawn out fanfare intro and recognizing people on the live stream it was literally 15 minutes before the hosts finally got around to actually saying anything meaningful. I am used to the meander most podcasts take at the beginning of the show. I don’t typically mind hearing the podcasters get back in touch with one another before getting down to brass tacks, but this was different. It was a cacophony of random call outs to the live stream and squirrel chasing.
The content of the show and the Law Abiding Biker Media centers around Harleys and cruiser culture. There is a lot of time spent on the podcast talking specs. If get excited about the change in CC’s that an engine got this year, then this something you want to hear. While you can find occasional episodes that differ from this focus, most of the time talk centers on the hog lifestyle.
Helping as many bikers as we can worldwide using media to educate, entertain, and build a trusted online biker community. And, to promote & sell quality trusted motorcycle related products online backed with great customer support.

Most of the problems of the Law Abiding Biker podcast boil down to a lack of self-awareness. It is the 2nd podcast reviews to call itself the most listened to motorcycle podcast on the internet. More than that, there is something that bothers me about the way the phrase “at law abiding biker…” gets used. It’s like referring to yourself in the 3rd person. It just feels a little silly.

While it may seem that I may not enjoy the podcast that much, as of this review Ryan has over 350 patrons donating almost $2000 per episode or video. That is certainly nothing to sneaze at and certainly points to the validity of his product and size of the audience. Additionally, unlike the podcast I find the youtube content put out by Law Abiding Biker Media both interesting and well produced.
